How to Make Homemade Holly Lolly Gifts for Christmas

Recently, a friend showed me how to make these cute homemade gifts for Christmas gifts and decorations.
Easy and fun to make, these small Holly Lolly gifts (not sure of the "correct" name) are great to give out as small tokens of friendship or to brighten up a gift or Christmas table.
What You Will Need:

- Red cellophane
- Green cellophane
- Ribbon
- Scissors
- Jaffa lollies or equivalent
- Spearmint leaf lollies or equivalent
- A spare pair of hands to help with tying
- Eyes in the back of your head to stop helpers from eating the lollies
Instructions

- Cut the red and green cellophane into squares, approximately 10-15cm by 10-15cm (my 6 yr old cut my squares). Cut a few pieces first and complete the instructions to ensure both the red and green cellophane squares are the right size for your lollies. Make bigger or smaller as required. Its important to get the size of the squares correct.
- Place a spearmint leaf lolly onto a green cellophane square and gently twist at top to hold in place. Repeat.
- Place a jaffa (chocolate ball) lolly onto a red cellophane square and gently twist at top to hold in place. Repeat
- Now you have two leaves (spearmint leaves wrapped in green cellophane) and two berries (jaffas wrapped in red cellophane)
- Place the two berries infront of the leaves and get a friend to hold in place while you tie together securely with ribbon.
- Repeat until you have made the quantity you require.
I'm now off to test these instructions by creating a few holly lolly bags for friends.
Enjoy!
