FamilyConnect.com.au is an opt in directory. This means the businesses that advertise on the site have, in some way, provided permission for their details to be shown. Permission may be granted through the following activities:

  • Open an account with FamilyConnect.com.au
  • Through a third-party affiliate marketing program
  • Through FamilyConnect.com.au Affiliate Program (coming soon)

I'm a not-for-profit, am I able to advertise for free?

Yes, not-for-profits are invited to advertise on the site for free. Not-for-profits play a valuable part of our communities and we would like to support them any way we can. Here's some ideas for not-for-profit organisations to maximise this free advertising opportunity:

  1. Create a business listing in Community & Society > Organisations
  2. Promote events in the Active Families Events Calendar
  3. Write an article on the service/advice/support they provide and how people are able to join/support them
  4. Submit a notice to the classifieds (soon to be Noticeboard) under Volunteers Wanted to attract volunteers.
  5. Submit a notice to the classifieds under Support Groups to promote the times and place of the ongoing meetings they hold.

I don't have a website, can I still advertise?
